College Transition Program

Are you thinking about going to college? Sign up for the Spring 2021 Maine College Transition Program. This free program reviews reading, writing, and math skills in a college-style setting. It will include an expanded focus on time management as well as finding and applying for scholarships. The 14-week session will have Tuesday & Thursday sessions. During the course students will visit with local colleges: the USM - the University of Southern Maine, CMCC - Central Maine Community College, MCHP - the Maine College of Health Professionals, and UMA - the University of Maine at Augusta. Guest speakers from other great Maine organizations, such as FAME and the MEOC, will also provide student support and services throughout the semester. A weekly virtual meeting reading short stories and poems that illuminate the American Experience from a variety of perspectives.
