Berry Picking Basket

Using a solid, round base and a wooden swing handle, this sweet, colorful basket is perfect for collecting berries or carrying your lunch. Supply list: mop-size bucket, spring-type clothespins, sturdy scissors, a tape measure, pencil, utility knife and spray bottle. This class has an additional $16 lab fee.

Canning Salsa

Calendar May 8, 2018 at 6 pm, runs for 1 week

A member of the University of Maine Cooperative Extension will review the basics of canning in time for spring. Can salsa by combining tomatoes, peppers with a variety of spices., and plan your gardening season for future canning. The additional $5 lab fee for the class will cover for food costs and for jars, but students should bring two potholders to class.

Connors School Construction

Calendar May 1, 2018 at 6 pm, runs for 1 week

Learn about the construction work at Robert V. Connors Elementary School right next door to Lewiston High School. Hear about the work that has been done and the work that remains to be done for the new school. Weather permitting, the class will visit the construction site. Students should wear boots or other footwear suitable for walking through mud and soil.

West Coast Swing Advanced

This is a continuation of West Coast Swing: Beginner, developing furher skills and patterns within the dance. No partner is required, but students need to have taken West Coast Swing: Beginner or have had prior experience with West Coast Swing basics. The registration cost is per person.
