Pilates is a way of connecting and conditioning the whole mind and body. It focuses on embracing calm, with an emphasis on stretching/limbering. The muscles will be worked through a full range of motion to enhance flexibility, muscular strength and balance, while staying connected to the conscious breath. Class will include breathing exercises, warm up, and muscular conditioning, followed by a cool down. This is a basic floor class and moves can be adapted by students if they have any physical limitations.
