For thousands of years, humans have been looking to the stars to be able to estimate time of day, time of the year, and where they are on the Earth. We will discuss which stars were used for early navigation, creating accurate calendars, and determining time of day. We will also discuss briefly the historical scientific equipment that was used to aid early civilizations on the reading of the stars. **This class has been postponed to March 26th**
