Let's learn how to put the cane back into chairs and bring them back to life. Caning a chair requires seven simple steps using five basic tools. You will have the opportunity to learn one step taught in class with the instructor's guidance then students will be asked to bring their chair home to complete the step. We will move on to the next step in the following class. Please bring your chair to class free of all cane. When the lessons have ended, you will have a unique chair to display in your home. Cane and pegs for your chair will be provided by the instructor and covered by the lab fee.
